What's included?

A mains-powered ice cream maker.

What does it do?

It makes amazing home made ice cream, sorbet or frozen yoghurt. A great weekend activity with children (though children should be supervised when using the machine).

Do I need any experience?

Not really - the full instruction manual is available and it has recipes in it too. It can be a bit tricky to make ice cream for the first time but you soon get the hang of it.

Is there anything I should bear in mind?

It takes at least overnight for the freezer bowl to cool down enough to use, so put it in the freezer as soon as you get home.
Supervise children when using the ice cream maker.
Please thoroughly wash all components before returning the ice cream maker to the Library of Things.
